Hiring the Community Hall
Size and Capacity
The Community Hall is approximately 90m2 with a folding partition door to make the space smaller (and warmer) if you don’t need a large space.
With the partition door open capacity is:
Standing – 150 people
Seated Theatre Style: 80 people
Seated Tables: 50 people.
Equipment available for use in the Hall includes:
60 chairs*
4 long tables – 182cm x 76cm
3 short tables – 69cm x 91cm
4 short tables – 61cm x 91cm
*additional chairs can be provided.

Hire rates:
Standard hire rate @ £12 per hour.
For small charities and community run groups we offer a discounted rate @ £10 per hour.
Hourly rate includes use of the kitchen and loos.
If you would like to use the oven then please book this separately at a small additional fee. Our oven is for non commercial use only.
Heating in colder months is by electric radiators set on a timer and is included in the hire rates.
HOW TO BOOK
Accessibility
There is step free, level access into the Community Hall via a dedicated entrance.
For safety and preservation reasons, we recommend all visitors should use the level footpath from the road to the Community Hall entrance and avoid walking on the cobbled granite area, as it is uneven.
There is an accessible toilet, fire escape with ramp, spacious doorways and level access into and around the Hall.
