For over a decade, The Oggymen have championed contemporary Cornish folk music and celebrated the songs that bind us to our surroundings, to our community, and to our history. From the powerful anthems of Cornish miners to the lively songs of sailors and fishermen, you will hear classic songs reimagined and experience the humour, passion, soul, and friendship that has made The Oggymen a much-loved and acclaimed part of Cornish song and music.
This promises to be an unforgettable evening, uniting audiences in the very essence of Cornwall’s distinctive community spirit in an iconic venue that is a unique expression of our local history and identity.
Grab your tickets here (or scan the QR code 👆🏾) and get ready to celebrate Cornish culture, honour the legacy of this very significant heritage building, and have a night to remember.

Answers to common questions we get asked about our events...
We do. From when the doors open up until the performance starts and again in the interval. What we serves depends on the event but it could be cake and a cuppa, a Pasty Supper or both! Please BRING CASH.
We do not serve alcohol but there are some great pubs close by that would welcome your visit before and afterwards.
You can find more information on our Contact page.
Lafrowda Car Park is close by and a level walk away. It is free. There is no parking at the Chapel. The streets nearby are residential so please use the Car Park.
Given the size and scale of the Chapel it is hard to heat. In the winter we will have had the heating on all day to prepare but we know that this will only take the edge off so please wrap up warm – and if you feel the cold, feel free to bring a blanket.
And the pews? They’re better if you bring a cushion with.
There is step free access into the building, an accessible toilet and downstairs pew seating with a very small step up into the boxes.
There are also dedicated viewing spaces for wheelchair users.
Please contact us so we can help you plan your visit with us.
Currently the full ticket price will all be used towards our fundraising appeal and charities goal of purchasing the St Just Wesleyan Miners’ Chapel. We have more information here.
In order for us to sell tickets online and take payment for these tickets we need to use online services which charge fees. We have looked around to see how best we can help reduce these fees – as a charity we have taken advantage of the reduced fees from paypal and on top of this the good people of Ticket Tailor have given us a 50% discount on their fees to support our charities efforts. Currently our booking fee is £1 which comparatively we think is the lowest we can get it – for now!!

All of our events are only made possible by local artists, performers, businesses, community groups and individuals generously donating their time to support the Chapel’s appeal to raise the funds we need to buy the Chapel buildings so that our doors can continue to stay open for community, cultural and spiritual use.
